Item Talk:Tattered Dwarf-make Cloth Short Robe

Right now the item offered to me as a reward option for the quest is 'Tattered Dwarf-make Cloth Short Robe', with a different icon but the same stats. What to do about that?--CementHold (talk) 08:14, 2 August 2012 (EDT)

Go to Category:Icons, drill down to the correct sub-category, and see at its talk-page if there is a correct generic icon and use that one. If not, there should probably be a generic icon, take a screenie and add one ;)

Do you mean that the quest reward is a robe, and it has replaced the shirt? Or is the shirt still another option, along with the tunic? Sometimes the quest rewards change, and sometimes they just alter the names of the items. When that happens it depends whether they've automatically converted old items that exist from before the change. If the robe has replaced the shirt, it might be be worth moving the page to the new name. -- Elinnea (talk) 11:38, 2 August 2012 (EDT)

Thank you, good people! I meant that the first quest reward was the short robe instead of this cloth shirt, I don't know how I failed to mention that.

Just prior to noticing this discrepancy, I had been reading about quests having multiple variants depending on race/class/starter NPC etc., so that made me a bit cautious. I suppose I should be more confident -- in your ability to rollback whatever I do.

Beyond that, I cannot be really sure if the quest reward was changed to a different (perhaps new) item, or if the item itself was modified. But considering nothing else links to this page, it might be safe to assume that the latter is the case here, so I'll go ahead with that.
