Item Talk:Brúngwath's Horn

Note that the item tooltip reads "You must have quest 'Instance: A Sunset Storm'". That is, 'must have quest', not 'must have completed quest'. I'm not seeing an option to add it in that fashion, so I've put it in as close as possible. -- JnK (talk) 02:20, 17 March 2012 (EDT)

Does this item work at all times, or only during the quest 'Instance: A Sunset Storm'? Is it added to your inventory when you accept or start the quest and removed on exit?
IIRC, items like that were usually described with different wording. While not perfect, the attrib= parameter might work. I definitely remember running into an item with a similar description, but of course I can't recall exactly what it was now, other than it was likely from Dunland. That's the peculiar part of this. This item is actually a quest reward given by the quest 'Answering the Call'. Brúngwath gives it to you saying something along the lines of 'you have helped us, so when the time comes we will fulfill our oath'. The horn goes into one's inventory, it can be carried around and even tossed in storage. I haven't found the 'A Sunset Storm' instance as yet, nor the 'Brúngwath's Call' trait or effect. -- JnK (talk) 10:57, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
When you are in the Instance: A Sunset Storm quest, you see a billboard message allowing you to use the horn just inside the gate to Lashkarg. Since that is a solo instance, the help may be valuable. RingTailCat (talk) 12:52, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
Aye, finally got my last Blue Caste emblems and the instance. The horn summons Brúngwath and two Redeemed Oathbreakers as allies, all signatures with around 14k morale. They're set to attack anything in range, so they pretty much run around steamrolling the swarm-grade Khundolar of the First Ward. From what I've seen, they vanish as you reach the first boss, but right after you defeat him you run into Rozi, who helps out with the Second Ward.
Of course, there's a daily repeatable of the instance that awards a Golden Anduin token, so this horn can certainly come in handy. -- JnK (talk) 17:19, 17 March 2012 (EDT)
