• Why this damn thing keeps the first version of image? I uploaded new and it shows the same image for both versions...

It is a function of the MediaWiki cache. Many things, especially thumbnails are NOT updated immediately on editing, but by periodic tasks which the server runs.

Many times you can force an update by using the "Purge" pulldown now on the top menu -- next to the "view History/Star" is a down-arrow." That down arrow now includes "purge" as an action in addition to Delete/Move/Protect. Since this ability was newly added, I have not tried it with File pages, to see if it updates the thumnails in a more timely manner.
