      Tactical Information

      Ents go to War is a good burst damage skill, greatly damaging multiple targets and stunning them at the same time. The skill gets noticeably better when traited down the Master of Nature's Fury line, dealing more damage, costing less power and morale and having a shorter induction. Also, it causes the longest stun of all Lore-master's skills, creating time to use skills with long inductions which would otherwise be interrupted by enemies. It is especially useful for fights with multiple (grouped up) targets. For maximized AoE burst damage, one can think of the following skill sequence: Ancient Craft, Ents go to War, Lightning Storm, Improved Sticky Gourd, Cracked Earth. After this the stun has expired and you can go on killing what's left in melee, or even kite if you're in danger.

      Lore

      This skill was inspired by the story of the War of the Ring, in which the ents eventually decide to pick sides and march upon Isengard, home of the fallen wizard Saruman:

      "We come, we come with roll of drum: ta-runda runda runda rom!
      We come, we come with horn and drum: ta-runa runa runa rom!
      To Isengard! Though Isengard be ringed and barred with doors of stone;
      Though Isengard be strong and hard, as cold as stone and bare as bone,
      We go, we go, we go to war, to hew the stone and break the door;
      For bole and bough are burning now, the furnace roars - we go to war!
      To land of gloom with tramp of doom, with roll of drum, we come, we come;
      To Isengard with doom we come!
      With doom we come, with doom we come!"
