Category talk:Warband Quests
Just for the record... May 2013 -- I created this category to allow the Warband Quests to be easily found as they are a significant part of the "end-game" play. Although currently making out at level 85, conceptually, they appear to be a mechanic which Turbine intends to carry forward into the future. Update 11 (Wildermore) contains another set of (at least 13) additional Warbands.
That being said, the other thing which I have done is to try to "match-up" the verbiage for each of the Quests with the latest revisions. Turbine has been (as per usual) less than consistent with the content of the Warband quest boxes... they all have redundant text and "non-existent" objectives, all of which have been bugged, and will, hopefully, be corrected in Update 11 (nominally in late-may/early-June) or possibly Update 12 expected before the Helm's Deep expansion hits, although U12 may simply be the next expansion.
Of particular note, I have begun using: "questender = Remote Quest Advance" since all of the Warband quests now "pop-up" the "Quest Ready to Advance" ring.
Heading changes
I've done a little editing to headings so that the page was easier to read. I think all Warband category (not Warband quest) pages need to be looked at as there are a couple that come up for deeds, one that lists Warbands and only includes the West Gondor quests, and this one, which is actually the most useful and I think should replace the Warbands page that currently contains only West Gondor content. When searching under "Warband" this page doesn't even show up as a possibility unless you use the word "Category" which is not an intuitive thing to include. I actually just stumbled across this page when I was looking at something else and it's actually what I've wanted all the time.--Gwilliwen (talk) 05:40, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
shrink for transduce
- Using section transclude from this page into other lists around the wiki is fantastic but the original design of the pages is a bit clunky. At the end of each transduced section is a closing line that seems to to be added to ALL transclusions regardless of sections

if this is placed on its own line (newline, EOF), the wiki wants to transduce that extra line into ALL transclusions. So I am going to move all of these to the line above them. This will remove all the extra lines that keep appearing before and after the desired translucded section on the final transclude page.
- The blockquotes are a bit much as well creating even more extra lines in each section. removing them as well, this should shrink down the transclusion sections and make them more concise.
- The headers for each of the quest types (solo, small group, full gorup, raid) are a bit much as well, most of them only house a single warband. I am going to just label them instead.
