How do I force the External link down to the bottom of the page? I want the external, but after the list of terms.--YuriPup 06:10, 7 April 2007 (PDT)

My guess is you can't - the text & link are "the page" - the rest is all part of the category stuff. I'll be interested to see whether I'm correct when a more experienced wiki-editor answers :) DancesInTrees 06:18, 7 April 2007 (PDT)
My guess would be as good as yours =) There's one other thing though: i removed {{help}} tag, since this page does not require help...
{{help}} tag is there to let other editors know that the page needs some more work on it... not that the one who wrote something needs assistance =) --Xander 06:56, 7 April 2007 (PDT)
We need a noob tag or something then (and also why I have been putting the help tag on the talk pages, opposed to the article page).
Nah. What you need is to learn to sign your posts on talk pages =P and what we need is someone to work on help pages =) --Xander 09:31, 7 April 2007 (PDT)
Yeish. One little sig and people get all over you. :-P--YuriPup 05:55, 10 April 2007 (PDT)

Do we want a seperate glossary and game terms pages? I just merged the glossary (not that I had much there) here, but I don't think we need entries for things like shattered pitchers. Its not really a game term (I think), and discussions about MMOGs and Newbies dosen't belong in the same area (IMNSHO). --YuriPup 06:23, 7 April 2007 (PDT)

You can leave them together for now... imho of course... if and when it overgrows... we could separate them... --Xander 06:56, 7 April 2007 (PDT)

Patch notes

Given this is a games terms page, I don't think the links to patch notes are relevant. Delete? Synique 20:21, 28 June 2007 (PDT)

Yeh interesting one, I can't see why they've been included. It's not so much "delete" as remove the articles from the category - which I will do in a few days if no-one points up a good reason for them to stay :) DancesInTrees 00:04, 29 June 2007 (PDT).
Will take care of this. Rogue 12:07, 21 April 2008 (PDT)

Game Terms Article

I believe the articles in this category could be put into Game Terms. If no-one objects then perhaps in some off time I or anyone else who feels obliged could start moving the information over to the new page. Rogue 12:07, 21 April 2008 (PDT)

Should We Add...

I thought of a couple terms and didn't know if they would be useful to include on the wiki: specifically, I'm wondering about "Main" as in main vs. alt character (I guess it would have to be called "main character" for disambig), and "Lowbie" (does anyone outside my kin use this word, talking about low-level alts?) I'll add more if they come to mind. -Adelas (talk) 04:01, 8 September 2011 (EDT)

I would say there's no harm in adding them - I've used "lowbie" from time to time, although I picked it up in EverQuest; can't remember offhand if I've seen it in LotRO. Sethladan 11:18, 8 September 2011 (EDT)
Sure, go ahead in adding them. "Main" and "Alt" are commonly used at my server. I've never used or heard "Lowbie" so far in my 4 years of LotRO though, that might be a term from other games, as Seth said. The somewhat related "Noob" is used, however. --Ravanel (talk) 11:24, 8 September 2011 (EDT)
